This product (Catalog No. DPABH-06380) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NRAS. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NRAS from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This is an N-ras oncogene encoding a membrane protein that shuttles between the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. This shuttling is regulated through palmitoylation and depalmitoylation by the ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex. The encoded protein, which has intrinsic GTPase activity, is activated by a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor and inactivated by a GTPase activating protein. Mutations in this gene have been associated with somatic rectal cancer, follicular thyroid cancer, autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome, Noonan syndrome, and juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia.
DPABH-06380 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:100) applications.
DPABH-06380 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
