This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19146) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human NPY1R, targeting the amino acid region 311–384 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NPY1R from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene belongs to the G-protein-coupled receptor superfamily. The encoded transmembrane protein mediates the function of neuropeptide Y (NPY), a neurotransmitter, and peptide YY (PYY), a gastrointestinal hormone. The encoded receptor undergoes fast agonist-induced internalization through clathrin-coated pits and is subsequently recycled back to the cell membrane. Activation of Y1 receptors may result in mobilization of intracellular calcium and inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity.
DPABH-19146 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-19146 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
