This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01767) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NPY1R. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NPY1R from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene belongs to the G-protein-coupled receptor superfamily. The encoded transmembrane protein mediates the function of neuropeptide Y (NPY), a neurotransmitter, and peptide YY (PYY), a gastrointestinal hormone. The encoded receptor undergoes fast agonist-induced internalization through clathrin-coated pits and is subsequently recycled back to the cell membrane. Activation of Y1 receptors may result in mobilization of intracellular calcium and inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity. DPABH-01767 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:1000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. DPABH-01767 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
