General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23351) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NF1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NF1 from mouse, rat, and monkey. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene product appears to function as a negative regulator of the ras signal transduction pathway. Mutations in this gene have been linked to neurofibromatosis type 1, juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia and Watson syndrome. The mRNA for this gene is subject to RNA editing (CGA>UGA->Arg1306Term) resulting in premature translation termination. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have also been described for this gene. DPABH-23351 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000-3000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications. DPABH-23351 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
