GeneralInformation
Immunogen
Activated mouse macrophages
Fusion Species
Rat X Mouse Heterohybridoma
Immunological Donor
Rat spleen
Cell Line Description
Animals were immunized with activated mouse macrophages. Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody reacts weakly with resident mouse peritoneal macrophages and strongly with mouse macrophages that have been activated by treatment with Macrophage Activating Factor (MAF) or thioglycollate. It does not react with rat macrophages nor with a panel of mouse macrophage, monocyte or lymphoid cell lines.
