General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28493) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human KLF4, targeting the amino acid region 352–513 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human KLF4 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Krüppel-like factor 4 (KLF4) is a zinc finger-containing transcription factor encoded by the KLF4 gene located on chromosome 9q31.2 in humans, consisting of 513 amino acids with a molecular weight of approximately 54.7 kDa. As a member of the evolutionarily conserved Krüppel-like factor (KLF) family, KLF4 features three C₂H₂-type zinc finger motifs at its carboxyl terminus for sequence-specific DNA binding, along with an amino-terminal transactivation domain and a repression domain that enable it to both activate and repress target gene expression. It plays essential roles in regulating key cellular processes, including proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, and maintenance of pluripotency.
DPABH-28493 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:200), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-28493 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
