This product (Catalog No. CPBT-51074RH) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human AQP3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AQP3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Predicted to enable channel activity; identical protein binding activity; and urea transmembrane transporter activity. Involved in glycerol transmembrane transport and water transport. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including renal water absorption; response to ischemia; and urea transport. Located in basolateral plasma membrane and cell-cell junction. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; capillary; early conceptus; genitourinary system; and sensory organ. Used to study nephrogenic diabetes insipidus. Orthologous to human AQP3 (aquaporin 3 (Gill blood group)). CPBT-51074RH is suitable for use in WB 1 (500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. CPBT-51074RH is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
