General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03783) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against mouse AQP3, targeting the amino acid region 201–292 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AQP3 from human and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Predicted to enable channel activity; identical protein binding activity; and urea transmembrane transporter activity. Involved in glycerol transmembrane transport and water transport. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including renal water absorption; response to ischemia; and urea transport. Located in basolateral plasma membrane and cell-cell junction. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; capillary; early conceptus; genitourinary system; and sensory organ. Used to study nephrogenic diabetes insipidus. Orthologous to human AQP3 (aquaporin 3 (Gill blood group)). DPABH-03783 is suitable for use in flow cytometry (FC) (2 μg/test) application. DPABH-03783 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
