General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27838) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GRIA1, targeting the amino acid region 88–287 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human GRIA1 from mouse, pig, and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Glutamate receptors are the predominant excitatory neurotransmitter receptors in the mammalian brain and are activated in a variety of normal neurophysiologic processes. These receptors are heteromeric protein complexes with multiple subunits, each possessing transmembrane regions, and all arranged to form a ligand-gated ion channel. The classification of glutamate receptors is based on their activation by different pharmacologic agonists. This gene belongs to a family of alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole propionate (AMPA) receptors. DPABH-27838 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) application. DPABH-27838 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
