This product (Catalog No. DPABH-29058) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GABRG2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GABRG2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor. GABA is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammlian brain, where it acts at GABA-A receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. GABA-A receptors are pentameric, consisting of proteins from several subunit classes: alpha, beta, gamma, delta and rho. Mutations in this gene have been associated with epilepsy and febrile seizures. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
DPABH-29058 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications.
DPABH-29058 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
