This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22096) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human eIF2B5. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes one of five subunits of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2B (EIF2B), a GTP exchange factor for eukaryotic initiation factor 2 and an essential regulator for protein synthesis. Mutations in this gene and the genes encoding other EIF2B subunits have been associated with leukoencephalopathy with vanishing white matter. DPABH-22096 is suitable for use in IF (immunofluorescence) (1:20–1:100) application. DPABH-22096 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
