This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24044) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human EDEM3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with EDEM3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) ensures that only properly folded proteins are retained in the cell through recognition and degradation of misfolded or unassembled proteins. EDEM3 belongs to a group of proteins that accelerate degradation of misfolded glycoproteins in the ER (Hirao et al., 2006 [PubMed 16431915]). DPABH-24044 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000-3000), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. DPABH-24044 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
