General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02709) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CHRM3, targeting the amino acid region 270–470 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The muscarinic cholinergic receptors belong to a larger family of G protein-coupled receptors. The functional diversity of these receptors is defined by the binding of acetylcholine and includes cellular responses such as adenylate cyclase inhibition, phosphoinositide degeneration, and potassium channel mediation. Muscarinic receptors influence many effects of acetylcholine in the central and peripheral nervous system. The muscarinic cholinergic receptor 3 controls smooth muscle contraction and its stimulation causes secretion of glandular tissue. Alternative promoter use and alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that have different tissue specificities. DPABH-02709 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications. DPABH-02709 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
