General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21882) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CENPC, targeting the amino acid region 701–800 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CENPC from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Centromere protein C 1 is a centromere autoantigen and a component of the inner kinetochore plate. The protein is required for maintaining proper kinetochore size and a timely transition to anaphase. A putative pseudogene exists on chromosome 12.
DPABH-21882 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-21882 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
