This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03478) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CEBPD. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CEBPD from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this intronless gene is a bZIP transcription factor which can bind as a homodimer to certain DNA regulatory regions. It can also form heterodimers with the related protein CEBP-alpha. The encoded protein is important in the regulation of genes involved in immune and inflammatory responses, and may be involved in the regulation of genes associated with activation and/or differentiation of macrophages. The cytogenetic location of this locus has been reported as both 8p11 and 8q11. DPABH-03478 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications. DPABH-03478 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
