General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14146) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CBX2, targeting the amino acid region 1–211 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CBX2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The chromobox homologue protein 2 (CBX2) is a critical component of the PRC1 complex involved in antiviral innate immunity, neuronal, and gonadal differentiation, axial patterning during embryonic development, cell proliferation, and senescence (PMID: 32870972). CBX2 has 2 isoforms with the molecular mass of 23 and 56 kDa. Sometimes higher molecular weight around 65-70 kDa can also be observed, which may be a modified variant of CBX2.
DPABH-14146 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000) application.
DPABH-14146 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
