General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22727) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CBS, targeting the amino acid region 72–551 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Serine sulfhydrase (also referred to as L-serine sulfhydrase) is a pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP)–dependent enzyme that catalyzes the α,β-elimination of L-serine in the presence of sulfide to generate L-cysteine, acetate (or pyruvate, depending on reaction direction), and hydrogen sulfide–related intermediates. Functionally, it participates in sulfur amino acid metabolism by linking serine utilization to cysteine biosynthesis and cellular sulfide flux.
DPABH-22727 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-22727 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
