General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08948) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C10orf2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with C10orf2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Involved in mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) metabolism. Could function as an adenine nucleotide-dependent DNA helicase. Function inferred to be critical for lifetime maintenance of mtDNA integrity. In vitro, forms in combination with POLG, a processive replication machinery, which can use double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) as template to synthesize single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) molecules. May be a key regulator of mtDNA copy number in mammals. DPABH-08948 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. DPABH-08948 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
