This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08642) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ATP6V1B1, targeting the amino acid region 1–327 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ATP6V1B1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ATP6V1B1, also named ATP6B1, VATB and VPP3, belongs to the ATPase alpha/beta chains family. ATP6V1B1 is mainly expressed in kidney. ATP6V1B1 is essential for the proper assembly and activity of V-ATPase. In renal intercalated cells, ATP6V1B1 mediates secretion of protons (H+) into the urine thereby ensuring correct urinary acidification. The calculated molecular weight of ATP6V1B1 is 57 kDa.
DPABH-08642 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:5,000–1:50,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-08642 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
