Immunogen
Recombinant human SERCA2,ATP2A2 protein; Source: E. coli derived, PGEX-4T; Tag: GST; Domain: 314-580 aa of BC035588
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04208) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SERCA2, targeting the amino acid region 314–580 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SERCA2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ATP2A2, also known as SERCA2 (Sarco/endoplasmic reticulum-type calcium transport ATPase 2), is a 110 kDa magnesium-dependent enzyme catalyzing the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol to the sarcoplasmic reticulum lumen. Human SERCA2 gene gives rise to several alternatively spliced isoforms: SERCA2a, SERCA2b and SERCA2c. ATP2A2 is mainly expressed in the sarcoplasmic reticulum of muscle cells and the endoplasmic reticulum of most cell types.
DPABH-04208 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:5,000–1:50,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF-P (1:50–1:500), IF-FRO (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-04208 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
