This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03754) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human AKT3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AKT3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the AKT, also called PKB, serine/threonine protein kinase family. AKT kinases are known to be regulators of cell signaling in response to insulin and growth factors. They are involved in a wide variety of biological processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, tumorigenesis, as well as glycogen synthesis and glucose uptake. This kinase has been shown to be stimulated by platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), insulin, and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1). Alternatively splice transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
DPABH-03754 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application.
DPABH-03754 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
