General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20878) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ADM2, targeting the amino acid region 1–148 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ADM2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ADM2 also named as adrenomedullin 2 or IMDS is a 148 amino-acid secreted protein, which belongs to adrenomedullin family of calcitonin-related peptide hormones and is expressed in the esophagus, stomach, jejunum, ileum, ileocecum, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon and rectum. ADM2 activates the cAMP-dependent pathway and may play a role in regulating gastrointestinal and cardiovascular bioactivities. ADM2 play a role in the regulation of peripheral tissues by calcitonin receptor-like receptor.
DPABH-20878 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500) application.
DPABH-20878 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
