This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1495W) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human Intermedin, targeting the amino acid region 17–47 of the protein. Adrenomedullin 2 (ADM2) is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes a preproprotein processed into mature peptide hormones belonging to the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP)/calcitonin family. These hormones regulate diverse physiologic functions, including cardiovascular homeostasis, fluid and electrolyte balance, and gastrointestinal motility. The ADM2 gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 22 at position 22q13.33, spanning approximately 4.9 kb with two exons, and it colocalizes with a cluster of genes including MAPK8IP2 and SOX10. CABT-L1495W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1495W is supplied as a lyophilized formulation. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
