ICC: 2.0 μg/mL from a representative lot detected N-terminally arginylated beta actin in HeLa and HUVEC cells. Dot: A 1:5000 dilution of this antibody (0.2 μg/mL) detected immunogen peptide by Dot, but not the corresponding peptide without the N-terminus arginine. WB: A 1:5000 dilution of this antibody (0.2 μg/mL) detected greatly reduced N-terminal arginylation modification of beta actin in Arg–transfer RNA (-tRNA) protein transferase (Ate1) knockout mouse embryonic fibroblasts.
