Intended Use

Standard diffusion test for the detection of antibacterial substances in milk.
With an entire plate a maximum of 96 milk samples can be tested. According to the number of samples analyzed, one or more wells may be used.

Contents of Kit

1. 480 ready to use tests (5 plates of 96 tests divisible into single wells) with solid agar medium containing spores of Geobacillus stearothermophilus and nutrients for the growth and bromocresol purple.
2. 2 × 5 adhesive perforated sheets/strips.

Storage

The tests should be stored upright in the original packaging, in the dark at a constant temperature below 8°C prevented from freezing (preferably between 4°C and 8°C). Lower and/or fluctuating temperatures may result in softening of the contents, leading to loosening of the agar or the formation of air bubbles. Storage at a higher temperature will shorten the shelf life.
