Antigen Description
Adiponectin is a protein hormone that modulates a number of metabolic processes that may lead to type 2 diabetes, obesity and, atherosclerosis. It has been studied as a prognostic and diagnostic marker of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Recombinant human adiponectin antigen is produced by mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Glu19-Asn244 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Predicted molecular weight: 30 kDa.
