Application Notes
Suitable for use in WB, IF, ICC, ELISA, and IHC.
Recommended dilution: WB (1:500–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800).
Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
The Anti-Human MMP11(99–208) Polyclonal Antibody (product code CABT-L1901W) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody specifically directed against human MMP11 (Matrix Metallopeptidase 11), also known as stromelysin-3, MMP-11, SL-3, ST3, or STMY3. MMP11 is a secreted zinc-dependent matrix metalloproteinase involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and tissue restructuring. Unlike many other MMP family members, MMP11 undergoes intracellular activation by furin prior to secretion and exhibits distinct substrate specificity, including the ability to process alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor. This protein is widely studied in tissue remodeling, tumor–stroma interactions, and cancer progression. This antibody is generated using recombinant human MMP11 protein corresponding to amino acids 99–208 expressed in E. coli with a GST tag and is suitable for research applications involving MMP11 detection.
This product is validated for use in Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. Recommended working dilutions include WB at 1:500–1:1,000 and IF/ICC at 1:200–1:800. Each laboratory should determine the optimal working dilution according to specific experimental conditions. The antibody is suitable for detection and analysis of human MMP11 expression in various biological samples, and other applications may be evaluated depending on experimental requirements.
CABT-L1901W is a rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody purified by antigen affinity purification and prepared from rabbit antiserum. Each vial contains 100 μl of antibody in PBS buffer (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The product should be stored at −20°C and remains stable for one year after shipment. Aliquoting is unnecessary for storage at −20°C. This product is intended for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use.
