Application Notes
Suitable for use in WB, IHC, IF, and ELISA.
Recommended dilution: WB (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:100–1:300), IF (1:200–1:1,000), ELISA (1:20,000).
Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
The Anti-Human MMP11(61–110) Polyclonal Antibody (product code CABT-L1902W) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody specifically directed against human MMP11 (Matrix Metallopeptidase 11), also known as stromelysin-3, MMP-11, SL-3, ST3, or STMY3. MMP11 is a secreted zinc-dependent matrix metalloproteinase involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and tissue restructuring. Unlike many other MMP family members, MMP11 is activated intracellularly by furin before secretion and exhibits distinct substrate preferences, including processing of alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor. MMP11 is widely studied in tissue remodeling, tumor–stroma interactions, and cancer progression. This antibody is generated using a synthesized peptide corresponding to amino acids 61–110 of human MMP11 and is suitable for research applications involving MMP11 detection.
This product is validated for use in Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), and ELISA applications. Recommended working dilutions include WB at 1:500–1:2,000, IHC at 1:100–1:300, IF at 1:200–1,000, and ELISA at 1:20,000. Each laboratory should determine the optimal working dilution according to specific experimental conditions. This antibody detects endogenous levels of MMP11 protein and has been validated for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples.
CABT-L1902W is a rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody purified by antigen affinity purification and supplied as a liquid formulation. Each vial contains 100 μl of antibody in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide. The product should be stored at −20°C and remains stable for up to one year. This product is intended for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use.
