General Notes

The Mouse Anti-Human STT3B Monoclonal Antibody (clone 29475, product code CABT-L1896W) is a mouse monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human STT3B (STT3 Oligosaccharyltransferase Complex Catalytic Subunit B), also known as dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide–protein glycosyltransferase subunit STT3B or oligosaccharyl transferase subunit STT3B. STT3B is the catalytic subunit of the STT3B-containing oligosaccharyltransferase complex located in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. It plays a critical role in N-linked glycosylation by transferring preassembled oligosaccharides to asparagine residues of nascent and newly synthesized proteins, including glycosylation sites that may be missed by the STT3A-containing complex. This antibody is generated using a synthetic peptide derived from human STT3B and is suitable for research applications involving STT3B detection.
This product is validated for use in Western Blot (WB) applications. The recommended working dilution is WB at 1:500–1:2,000. Each laboratory should determine the optimal working dilution according to specific experimental conditions. This antibody detects endogenous levels of STT3B in human and mouse samples. Other applications have not been tested but may not be excluded depending on experimental requirements.
CABT-L1896W is a mouse IgG monoclonal antibody purified by antigen affinity purification and supplied as a liquid formulation. Each vial contains 100 μl of antibody in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide.
