The Magic™ Mouse Anti-Human IFN-β(30-47) monoclonal antibody, clone B2 (product code CABT-L1919W) is directed against the AB-loop region of human interferon beta. IFN-β is a type I interferon cytokine that activates IFNAR-dependent JAK-STAT signaling and regulates antiviral and immunomodulatory gene expression. The antibody is suitable for western blotting, ELISA, and neutralization studies. It has been reported to neutralize IFN-β bioactivity and does not react with human IFN-α or IFN-γ. CABT-L1919W is a mouse IgG, κ monoclonal antibody purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied as 100 μg in a liquid sodium acetate formulation containing NaCl, sucrose, and Tween 20 without added preservative. Store at 4°C for up to 6 months or at -20°C for extended preservation; the product is shipped on wet ice.
