Suitable for coating in ELISA and for FC.
For ELISA coating, recommended starting concentration for titration: 1–2 μg/mL for most applications or 1 μg per 10^6 cells in 100 μL for flow cytometry.
Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
The Mouse Anti-Human Fibronectin Monoclonal Antibody (clone FN1, product code CABT-L1904W) is a mouse monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human Fibronectin (FN1), also known as fibronectin, fibronectin 1, cold-insoluble globulin (CIG), LETS protein, or FINC. Fibronectin is a large extracellular matrix glycoprotein that exists as a soluble dimer in plasma and as dimeric or multimeric fibrils within the extracellular matrix. It interacts with integrins and other extracellular matrix components to regulate cell adhesion, migration, embryonic development, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and tissue remodeling. This antibody is generated using a recombinant fragment corresponding to approximately amino acids 467–595 of human fibronectin and specifically recognizes human cellular fibronectin but not plasma fibronectin.
This product is validated for use as an ELISA coating antibody and in Flow Cytometry (FC) applications. For ELISA coating, a recommended starting concentration for optimization is 1–2 μg/mL for most applications. For flow cytometry, a recommended starting amount is 1 μg per 10⁶ cells in a 100 μL suspension. Each laboratory should determine the optimal working concentration according to specific experimental conditions. This antibody is suitable for applications requiring selective detection of cellular fibronectin in human samples.
CABT-L1904W is a mouse IgG1, κ monoclonal antibody supplied as a liquid formulation. Each vial contains 100 μl of antibody in PBS containing 0.1% BSA and 0.05% sodium azide. The product should be stored at 2–8°C and protected from light for fluorescent conjugates. BSA-free antibodies should be stored at −10°C to −35°C. When stored as recommended, the product is guaranteed for at least 24 months from the date of receipt. This product is intended for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use.
