The original antibody was isolated from a non-immune semisynthetic llama library constructed from blood samples (6 ml) collected from the left jugular vein of three research naïve mature llamas.

The Hi-Puri™ Lama glama Anti-V. cholerae ctxB Monoclonal antibody (clone A9, product code DMAB-CPDB087)is a monoclonal antibody specifically directed against V. cholerae ctxB.
This product is validated for use in SPR, ELISA. This antibody binds the B subunit of the cholera toxin.
DMAB-CPDB087 is purified by affinity purification and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. It is available in multiple sizes, including 100 μg, 200 μg, 500 μg, and 1 mg. For long-term storage, the product should be stored at −20°C and repeated freeze–thaw cycles should be avoided. The product is shipped on dry ice. This product is intended for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use.
