Purity
When examined by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in a nondenaturing system run at alkaline pH, this product migrates as a single major band and is free of contamination from cholera toxin B subunit or holotoxin. Densitometric analysis estimates the purity of the product as >95%.

Reconstitution
Each vial of cholera toxin A subunit, when reconstituted to 0.5 ml with water, contains 0.25 mg of protein in 0.05M Tris, 0.2M NaCl, 0.001M Na2EDTA, 0.003M NaN3 at pH 7.5. Handle the product gently; do not vortex.
