This product (Catalog No. DPATB-H83576) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against sv40 SV40 VP1, targeting the amino acid region 251–350 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by protein A. SV40 VP1 is the major capsid protein of the Simian virus 40 (SV40), responsible for forming the icosahedral shell (45 nm) that protects the viral genome. It self-assembles into 72 pentameric units, binding to cell surface receptors and assisting in trafficking to the nucleus. VP1 is essential for viral structure, assembly, and infection. DPATB-H83576 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500) applications. DPATB-H83576 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
