This product (Catalog No. DPATB-H82725) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MBD2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MBD2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MBD2 (Methyl-CpG-binding domain protein 2) is a key epigenetic "reader" protein that binds specifically to methylated DNA and acts as a transcriptional repressor by recruiting the NuRD (Nucleosome Remodeling and Histone Deacetylase) complex. It is essential for gene silencing, playing critical roles in development, T-cell differentiation, and tumorigenesis. DPATB-H82725 is suitable for use in ELISA, Western blot (WB) applications. DPATB-H82725 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C.
