This product (Catalog No. DPATB-H82460) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against hiv1 HIV1 p55 + p24 + p17, targeting the amino acid region 231–330 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HIV1 p55 + p24 + p17 from hiv. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. HIV1 performs highly complex orchestrated tasks during the assembly, budding, maturation and infection stages of the viral replication cycle. During viral assembly, the proteins form membrane associations and self-associations that ultimately result in budding of an immature virion from the infected cell. Gag precursors also function during viral assembly to selectively bind and package two plus strands of genomic RNA. p55 is digested by HIV1 protease into intermediate products p41 and p15. p41 is further digested into matrix protein p17 and capsid protein p24. Likewise, p15 is further digested into nucleocapsid protein p7 and to p6 and p1.
DPATB-H82460 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPATB-H82460 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
