This product (Catalog No. DPATB-H81289) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CACNB1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CACNB1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the calcium channel beta subunit family. It plays an important role in the calcium channel by modulating G protein inhibition, increasing peak calcium current, controlling the alpha-1 subunit membrane targeting and shifting the voltage dependence of activation and inactivation. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and three transcript variants encoding three distinct isoforms have been identified. DPATB-H81289 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications. DPATB-H81289 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
