We recommend the following antibody pair to develop a pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging assay to measure free drug: CABT-ZB225 - CABT-ZB226 CABT-ZB226 is recommended for use as a detection antibody when paired with CABT-ZB225 as a capture antibody. Omalizumab with trade name Xolair, is an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of moderate to severe persistent asthma in adults and adolescents (12 years of age and above). It is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody. It selectively binds to human immunoglobulin E (IgE). Omalizumab inhibits the binding of IgE to the high-affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI) on the surface of mast cells and basophils.
