General Notes
We recommend the following antibody pair to develop a pharmacokinetic (PK) assay: CABT-L0168Y - CABT-L0169Y CABT-L0168Y is recommended for use as a capture antibody when paired with CABT-L0169Y. Evolocumab (Repatha) is a fully human IgG2 lambda antibody. It is approved for the treatment of certain patients with high cholesterol and for preventing heart attacks and strokes. By inhibiting the binding of the PCSK9 protein to the low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR), the drug increases the availability of LDLRs, resulting in reduced LDL levels.
