This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1267W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against mite Lep d 2. Lep d 2 is a major allergen derived from the storage mite Lepidoglyphus destructor. It belongs to the NPC2 (Niemann–Pick type C2) protein family and is structurally homologous to group 2 allergens from house dust mites, such as Der p 2. Lep d 2 is a small, secreted lipid-binding protein that can activate innate immune pathways and contribute to Th2-skewed allergic inflammation. Sensitization to Lep d 2 is commonly observed in individuals exposed to agricultural or storage environments, and it plays an important role in respiratory allergies, including allergic rhinitis and asthma. Lep d 2 is frequently included in component-resolved diagnostics to differentiate storage mite sensitization from house dust mite allergy. CABT-L1267W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1267W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
