This antibody has an ELISA IC50 of 1 ppb and LFIA cut-off of 5 ppb for detecting hyoscyamine, and it cross-reacts with atropine of 20 ppb. Hyoscyamine (also known as daturine or duboisine) is a naturally occurring tropane alkaloid and plant toxin. It is the levorotary isomer of atropine (third of the three major nightshade alkaloids) and thus sometimes known as levo-atropine.
