General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT1031) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human SLC6A7. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SLC6A7 also known as PROT, belongs to the solute Carrier 6 gene family. SLC6A7 is a high-affinity mammalian brain L-proline transporter, which is different from other sodium-dependent plasma membrane carriers, and has unique pharmacological specificity, kinetic properties, and ionic requirements. SLC6A7 is a brain specific sodium (and chloride)-dependent proline transporter, that terminates the action of proline by its high affinity sodium-dependent reuptake into presynaptic terminals.
DMAB-CPT1031 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.625-80 ng/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT1031 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
