The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human MFRP Monoclonal Antibody (clone 341529E6, product code DMAB-CPT480) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human MFRP (Membrane Frizzled-Related Protein). MFRP is a transmembrane protein primarily expressed in ocular tissues such as the retinal pigment epithelium and ciliary body, where it contributes to eye development, retinal structure maintenance, and visual function homeostasis. Genetic alterations in MFRP have been linked to retinal degenerative disorders and abnormal ocular development. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of human MFRP and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development. This product is validated for use in Cytometric Bead Array (CBA, detection format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT479 (capture) with DMAB-CPT480 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich immunoassay detection with a working range of 0.625–10 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of MFRP in biological samples and optimized for robust CBA-based immunodetection workflows requiring high specificity and sensitivity. DMAB-CPT480 is a rabbit IgG monoclonal antibody purified using Protein A affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. Each vial contains 100 μg of purified antibody. It is stored at −80°C for long-term preservation.
