The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human MFRP Monoclonal Antibody (clone 341529B8, product code DMAB-CPT479) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human MFRP (Membrane Frizzled-Related Protein). MFRP is a transmembrane protein predominantly expressed in the retinal pigment epithelium and ciliary body, where it is involved in ocular development and maintenance of retinal structure. Mutations in MFRP have been associated with ocular disorders, including retinal degeneration and nanophthalmos. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of human MFRP and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development. This product is validated for use in Cytometric Bead Array (CBA, capture format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT479 (capture) with DMAB-CPT480 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich immunoassay detection with a working range of 0.625–10 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of MFRP in biological samples and optimized for robust CBA-based immunodetection workflows requiring high specificity and sensitivity. DMAB-CPT479 is a rabbit IgG monoclonal antibody purified using Protein A affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. Each vial contains 100 μg of purified antibody. It is stored at −80°C for long-term preservation.
