The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human MELK Monoclonal Antibody (clone 341217F9, product code DMAB-CPT490) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human MELK (Maternal Embryonic Leucine Zipper Kinase). MELK is a serine/threonine protein kinase involved in the regulation of cell cycle progression, apoptosis, stem cell renewal, and stress response signaling, and has been implicated in tumor growth and cancer cell survival mechanisms. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of MELK and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development. This product is validated for use in sandwich ELISA (detection format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT489 (capture) with DMAB-CPT490 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich ELISA detection with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of MELK in biological samples and is validated for human and mouse cross-reactivity, supporting robust multi-species ELISA-based immunodetection workflows. DMAB-CPT490 is a rabbit IgG monoclonal antibody purified using Protein A affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. Each vial contains 100 μg of purified antibody. It is shipped with ice packs to ensure stability during transport. Upon receipt, it should be immediately stored at −80°C for long-term preservation.
