General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CBAS077) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human LILRB4. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 4 (LILRB4) is an inhibitory receptor predominantly expressed on myeloid cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. This receptor plays a critical role in regulating immune responses by modulating the activation and function of these cells. LILRB4 contains two extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains and is characterized by immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs) in its cytoplasmic tail, which facilitate the recruitment of phosphatases that negatively regulate signaling pathways. Dysregulation of LILRB4 has been implicated in several diseases, particularly in cancer and autoimmune disorders. In cancer, high expression levels of LILRB4 on tumor-associated macrophages can create an immunosuppressive microenvironment, aiding tumor progression and evasion of immune surveillance. Additionally, LILRB4 has been associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and other inflammatory conditions, where its inhibitory effects may contribute to the dysregulation of immune responses.
DMAB-CBAS077 is suitable for use in ELISA(Det) application.
DMAB-CBAS077 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), carrier-free, with optional 0.09% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
