The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human GABRA2 Monoclonal Antibody (clone 341269D23, product code DMAB-CPT482) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human GABRA2 (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid Type A Receptor Subunit Alpha 2). GABRA2 is a core subunit of the GABA(_A) receptor complex, a ligand-gated chloride channel responsible for mediating inhibitory neurotransmission in the central nervous system and maintaining neuronal excitability balance, synaptic transmission, and neurophysiological homeostasis. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of human GABRA2 and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development. This product is validated for use in Cytometric Bead Array (CBA, detection format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT481 (capture) with DMAB-CPT482 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich immunoassay detection with a working range of 0.312–20 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of GABRA2 in biological samples and optimized for robust CBA-based immunodetection workflows requiring high specificity and sensitivity. DMAB-CPT482 is a rabbit IgG monoclonal antibody purified using Protein A affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. Each vial contains 100 μg of purified antibody. It is stored at −80°C for long-term preservation.
