The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human GABRA2 Monoclonal Antibody (clone 341269G22, product code DMAB-CPT481) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human GABRA2 (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid Type A Receptor Subunit Alpha 2). GABRA2 is a key subunit of the GABA(_A) receptor complex, a ligand-gated chloride channel that mediates inhibitory neurotransmission in the central nervous system and plays a critical role in regulating neuronal excitability, synaptic transmission, and neurophysiological balance. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of human GABRA2 and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development. This product is validated for use in Cytometric Bead Array (CBA, capture format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT481 (capture) with DMAB-CPT482 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich immunoassay detection with a working range of 0.312–20 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of GABRA2 in biological samples and optimized for robust CBA-based immunodetection workflows requiring high specificity and sensitivity. DMAB-CPT481 is a rabbit IgG monoclonal antibody purified using Protein A affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. Each vial contains 100 μg of purified antibody. It is stored at −80°C for long-term preservation.
