General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1295W) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human COL1/3. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Collagen is a family of at least 28 distinct structural proteins that form the principal component of the extracellular matrix in connective tissues of multicellular animals, providing mechanical support and tensile strength through their characteristic triple-helical domains composed of repeating Gly-X-Y amino acid sequences, where X and Y are often proline and hydroxyproline. In humans and other mammals, collagen constitutes approximately one-third of total body protein content, predominantly types I, II, and III, which assemble into fibrils, networks, or other supramolecular structures essential for tissue integrity in skin, bone, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels.
CABT-L1295W is suitable for use in ELISA, IHC, IS applications.
CABT-L1295W is supplied as a lyophilized formulation in Lyophilized from 0.01M sodium phosphate, 0.01M sodium borate, 0.15M sodium chloride, 1% dextran, 1% mannitol, pH 8. Reconstitute with 0.5 ml sterile pure water. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
