General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1559W) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human Annexin-1, targeting the amino acid region 2–26 of the protein. Annexin A1 (ANXA1), also known as lipocortin 1, is a 37-kDa calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein belonging to the annexin superfamily of proteins, primarily recognized for its potent anti-inflammatory effects as a downstream mediator of glucocorticoid action in the regulation of innate and adaptive immune responses. Originally identified as an inhibitor of phospholipase A2 (PLA2), it plays crucial roles in membrane organization, vesicle trafficking, and the resolution of inflammation by modulating leukocyte recruitment and cytokine production. Expressed predominantly in immune cells such as neutrophils, monocytes, and macrophages, ANXA1 is released extracellularly upon cell activation to exert its effects via specific receptors.
CABT-L1559W is suitable for use in ELISA application.
CABT-L1559W is supplied as a lyophilized formulation. Reconstitute with 50 μl of distilled water for the equivalent of undiluted antiserum. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
